Getting a permit
Every permit application in South Florida passes through several reviewers: structural, zoning, fire, mechanical, electrical, plumbing and often environmental. Comments from any one of them stop the clock. We prepare or review the drawings, submit through the county or city portal, respond to reviewer comments quickly and keep the application moving until the permit is issued.
Permit problems we solve
- Rejected or repeatedly commented plans. We read the comments, correct the engineering and resubmit.
- Expired permits. We reactivate or reapply, and schedule the inspections needed to close them.
- Open permits found during a sale. We identify what is missing and close them out so the closing can proceed.
- Work done without a permit. We document the existing work, provide the engineering letters or drawings the inspector needs, and permit it after the fact where the code allows.
- Failed inspections and code violations. We diagnose the cause, design the correction and represent you with the inspector.
